On six floors, the Penck Hotel Dresden in the city center offers a total of 174 spacious non-smoking rooms and junior suites, renovated in 2019, in a prime city location. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, safe, allergy-friendly flooring, coffee & tea set and in-room tablet. High-speed WLAN is free of charge throughout the hotel. As a Green Sign certified hotel, attention is naturally also paid to sustainability and environmental protection.
From the four-star hotel in Dresden’s city center, it is only a few minutes’ walk to the historic Old Town, the Elbe River, the ICD International Congress Center Dresden or the Dresden Trade Fair.

The Hotel
Completely renovated in 2019, the design hotel in a central city location is named after the Dresden-born artist A.R. Penck. Over 700 original works can be found throughout the hotel. Penck himself created the majority of the exhibited works for the hotel in person. Be fascinated by Penck’s incredible language of form and colour and enjoy your stay amidst the newly curated works by Ralf Winkler, Penck’s real name. Art lovers will not only get their money’s worth in the centrally located design hotel itself, but also in the museums of the Dresden State Art Collections within walking distance in the Old Town.
The sustainable and careful use of natural resources is important to us. That is why each of our departments contributes to a more environmentally conscious way of working together. The hotel is GreenSign certified and is constantly improving in order to be as climate-friendly as possible in the future.
