The Penck Hotel Dresden offers 174 spacious rooms and suites in the best city location on six floors.
The historic old town is within walking distance as well as the Congress Center Dresden or the Dresden Exhibition Center. All rooms were completely renovated in 2019. You now have allergy-friendly floors and comfortable double beds. The rooms provide four-star comfort such as a separate desk, seating, flat screen TV and safe. With Sky 1 and Sky Atlantic you can find the best entertainment for everyone.
Our standard
All rooms are air-conditioned. A coffee & tea set and a bottle of mineral water are among the small amenities. Free WiFi is available in the entire hotel. You can use the tablet in your room to communicate with reception at any time, find out about all the hotel offers, read magazines and get insider tips. In each room there is an original work of art by the local artist A. R. Penck.
Features
In the spacious designer bathrooms of the 25 m² classic rooms you will find a shower, sufficient mirrors and storage space. The Junior and Penck Suites have a bathtub. All of the 37 m² Junior Suites and the 40 m² Penck Suites on the top floors offer a beautiful view of the old town. The minibar with local soft drinks, beers and wines is included.
Classic Room
Our Classic rooms have just recently been renovated and feature allergy-friendly floors, double beds, a safe and tablet, as well as a writing desk and separate seating. The rooms have either a city view or look into the quiet courtyard.

Junior Suite
Our junior suites are located at the top floor and offer a beautiful view of Dresden. The suites have just recently been completely renovated and have a separate living area with comfortable armchairs and sofas. For families with children, the sofa can also be used as a sofa bed. The spacious bathroom has a bathtub and the minibar is filled with complementary regional juices, beers and wines.

Penck Suite
Each of the Penck Suites offers particularly beautiful views of Dresden’s old town silhouette with the Semperoper, castle and Frauenkirche. All three Penck Suites are bright, spacious and located on the top floor. They offer a separate seating area with comfortable armchairs and sofas and the bathrooms feature bathtubs. The 43-inch flat screen TV and the minibar are housed in a specially made, head-high “Y”. “Y” was one of the synonyms Penck used to paint until the late 1960s. The minibar is filled with complementary regional juices, beers and wines.
